Oil Filter

Oil filters are inspected and changed in our oil change service.

Air Filter

Vehicles take in air and pass it into the engine through the air filter(s). The air filter takes out dust, foliage, and other debris before it enters the engine, where it’s mixed with fuel. If the air filter is dirty or clogged, it will not pass enough air into the engine, causing several issues.

How it's done:

  • Remove and replace the air filter.

TRIBE recommendation:

We inspect the air filter during every maintenance service (in cars where the filter is readily accessible). It should be replaced as needed.

What common symptoms indicate you may need to replace the Air Filter?

  • The engine is running rough.
  • Low gas mileage.
  • Check Engine Light is on.

Cabin Air Filter

The cabin air filter is responsible for cleaning the outside air before passing it through the heating or air conditioning system before venting it to you.

How it's done:

  • Cabin air filters are removed and replaced.
  • Debris is cleaned from the compartment as needed.

TRIBE recommendation

Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and change the cabin air filter as recommended.

What common symptoms indicate you may need to replace the Cabin Air Filter?

  • Airflow from the AC vents is low or weak.
